We are reliant on financial donations to support our work. As a private, community initiative Lesedi does not receive any government support. Each month we need to fund the salaries of all of our teachers, nurses and support staff (a team of 50 people), along with covering all the other operating costs of running two schools and a clinic.
Please consider supporting our work and with a one-off or recurring donation. Every donation makes a difference, no matter how large or small. Regular monthly donations are particularly important as they help us to cover our operational costs and to plan our work.
100% of your donation (after 3rd party payment processing fees) will be spent directly at Lesedi, making a difference where it is needed most.

We have partnered with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) to facilitate tax-efficient donations in the United Kingdom. Kindly remember to tick the gift aid box if applicable, so that we can reclaim tax on your donation.

We have partnered with Philanthropic Ventures Foundation (PVF), a registered Section 501(c)(3) charity, to provide a tax-efficient solution to fundraising in the United States. PVF act as fiscal sponsor on our behalf.

PVF provide donors with a tax acknowledgement letter for charitable donations of $250 or more. For donations under $250 your canceled check made payable to Philanthropic Ventures Foundation will serve as a receipt for IRS purposes.

Bank transfer
For larger donations it may be more cost effective to arrange a bank transfer direct to the UK charity, Ngoko Charitable Trust. We can accept Sterling or US Dollar donations. Please contact us for further details. Please note this would only be a tax-efficient option for donors from the United Kingdom, as the charity is UK-registered.
